The eve of the day

After a dark & stormy night at home, we arrived at Inn Victoria at around 3 PM.
Happily, we drove out of the rain and into the warm sunshine. We have the Princess
Victoria room on the third floor of the house. As we were schlepping our bags up to the
third floor,I had to ask Mike, "Who packed these bags? Vandals toting rocks?" Good grief. I guess
that's what happens when you try to pack for every eventuality.

There are 2 other couples on the same tour and starting at this Inn, as well. Evidently, they are friends
and are walking together. I imagine that we will meet them at dinner this evening.

Chester is a pretty little town. Since we arrived around 3:00 and it is a Sunday, we didn't get a
chance to explore too much. We'll be back to check things out more completely on Thursday,....
assuming we have any energy left by then.

Tomorrow, we hit the road. With our feet.
